Today, I woke up early to join Stephanie and Kai at Will Rogers State Beach for their engagement session. As you may have noticed that I photographed Stephanie and Kai a couple of weeks ago at Long Beach, CA. Today is just a bonus session because Kai wants to have crashing waves photos for his engagement photos. Well, if that's what Kai wants then that's what I'll provide. I had a wonderful time with Stephanie and Kai because they are the nicest couple ever. I wish them happiness and the very best with their marriage. Here's a sneak peak of their engagement photos today. Enjoy the slideshow and turn up your speakers. :-)

Stephanie Makino and Kai Nagata E-Session
Today I had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Kai's engagement photos. They were so funny and photogenic which made it easy to capture great photos of this lovely couple. Unfortunately, we tried to capture a mixture of urban and beach front photos, but we ran out of time because we lost the light when the sun sets. No worries, I offered to do a 2nd part of their engagement session at another place and time. Keep your eyes peeled for the 2nd part of their engagement session. In the mean time, here's a sneak peek of their images today in a slideshow.

Jennifer & Michael Macaranas E-Session
We spent the afternoon photographing Jennifer and Michael at the beach. We had so much fun getting wet and getting sand wedge onto our feet and leg, and most of all we captured the couple as they are... so very much in love with each other.
Jennifer and Michael were actually childhood friends back in Southeast Asia. They were next door neighbors. They separated when they immigrated to different cities in the US. Who would've thought that after years of separated as adults that they found each other 5 years ago. I guess it must be fate that they belong together. When love is "right" there's no fighting it. God bless to the both of you and we look forward to photographing your wedding day.

Teresa and Dean Engagement Session
Teresa and Dean have known each other for over 20 years. They were high school classmates. Love comes in full circle when they finally got together five years ago and found each other. Here are a few engagement photos (teasers, more to come) of the couple at the beach.

Jennifer & David E-Session
Here's a teaser of Jennifer and David's eSession images. I'm so glad to be around these two "Lovebirds". :-) I can tell they are so in love with each other. Congratulations Jennifer and David!

Jennifer and David met each other while working at the Screen Actors Guild. So I know the happy couple many years. Ever since they both left the Guild several years ago, I have not heard from them until recently. Jennifer heard through the grapevine that I have a wedding photography business and wanted to know if I can photograph their engagement session. It was my pleasure to photograph the Lovebirds today even though we all got a little wet.

Dinner with Brian @ Ti Amo Resturant

After the engagement session at Laguna Beach. Brian and I bumped into a restaurant called Ti Amo Restaurant. We had to try this restaurant because it's the same name as our photography studio.
The food was magnificent and the staff was so courteous and professional. In addition to that, the decor of the restaurant is unbelievably quaint, with touch mediteranean style in every corner you turn... including the washrooms. :-)
Below is the address of the restaurant.
Ti Amo Ristorante
31727 South Coast Hwy.
Laguna Beach, CA 92651
